CGT, the Italian CAT dealer, through its team of experts, is engaged in Tunisia to overhaul an engine by Waukesha, a leading company that produces engines capable of operating under high-stress conditions with a wide choice of usable fuels.
Specifically, the operation targets the Waukesha P9390GL model engine, which will undergo a general overhaul after 60,000 hours of operation, including a reset of the mileage, and then be transported back to the site, installed, and started for delivery to the client, Eni Tunisia.
The activity’s success is also attributed to an ongoing collaboration with Parenin, the local CAT Dealer, with whom CGT has worked for over 20 years. Both companies are involved in a maintenance contract with Eni Tunisia that includes ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of over 25 Caterpillar engines.
