TESYA has always been committed to positively impacting the communities in which it operates by building strong relationships and placing people at the centre of its efforts. In line with its values and purpose, the Group is launching the ‘Back to Your Future’ social responsibility project.
The pilot project will take place in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Slovenia in collaboration with the Italian Centre for Lifelong Learning (CIAPE), a non-profit association specialising in training, and its network of international centres, such as Animam Viventem, Santa María la Real fundación, Dante and STEP.
The international programme aims to support around 90 young people, including NEETs (young people who are not studying, working, or in training) and those at risk of dropping out of school. TESYA employees will work alongside the participants as mentors, helping them regain self-confidence and reintegrate into the workforce and society.
‘The social issues we are addressing with Back to Your Future have become so worrying that all actors, including companies, must contribute with determination. Supporting young people on the margins of the labour market is not only a collective responsibility but also an opportunity to enrich the workforce with new skills and talent. We firmly believe that investing in people is essential for the sustainable growth of the communities we serve, helping to meet the economic and social challenges of the future,’ said Lino Tedeschi, Chairman and CEO of the TESYA Group.
