Our Strategic Governance

TESYA is a group of private companies led by our Parent Company TESYA S.p.A. The Group’s strategic direction and intercompany collaborations and synergies are coordinated by the TESYA S.p.A. Executive Team through 4 central departments – Strategy and Business Development, Finance and Control, Information Technology and Human Resources – in conjunction with the Group’s 25 operating companies: Alfraproject.net, CGT, CGTE, CGT Trucks, CLS, Sitech, STET, Finanzauto and the Teknoxgroup subholding of companies.

Our history

1930

In 1934 the company OLMIA in Vercelli starts importing and marketing Caterpillar machines throughout northern Italy. Finanzauto is founded in the same decade, in Madrid in 1930.

1961

STET (Soc. Tècnica de Equipamentos e Tractores) is established in Portugal.

1962

OLMIA is renamed IMAI and then Compagnia Generale Trattori (CGT), and in 1965 moves its headquarters to Milan.

1990

Teknoxgroup is established to provide Caterpillar products and services in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo and subsequently Albania (2010).

1995

Foundation of Noloitalia, a new company dedicated entirely to the rental of Caterpillar compact machines and other brands of equipment for the construction industry, enviromental maintenance and events.

1996

TESA Group created.

2004

CLS is founded as a spin-off of CGT in Italy, specializing in material handling and logistics solutions.

2010

CGT extends its coverage to the entire Italian peninsula and the Republic of Malta. Noloitalia becomes CGT Edilizia, which in turn becomes CGTE in 2020.

2013

CGT becomes a DAF dealer in 2008 and in 2013 it spins off its dealership business to the newly-founded CGT Trucks, dedicated to the sale and rental of industrial vehicles.

2018

The Group expands its presence to the Iberian Peninsula with the integration of Finanzauto in Spain and STET in Portugal.

2020

The Group consolidates and interconnects all its companies under a new identity with strong shared values: TESYA.

2021

Finanzauto acquires Energyst SA, a power rental company based in Madrid. CGTE acquires GM Noleggi Srl, a provider of rental solutions for public works, construction, and industry. CLS acquires smart factories specialist Alfaproject.net

2022

TESYA acquires Emerent (specialised in renting) based in Asturias, Spain, and Alax Automation (specialised in automation) in Belgium, which is entering into the CLS orbit.

2023

XIBER, an in-house innovative start-up with a strong technological innovation mandate in the world of distributed renewable energy production and industrial process electrification, is born. CLS acquires Degrosolutions, dealer of Mitsubishi forklift trucks in Italy.
