Going the extra mile
One of our Marine Tech teams in Las Palmas performed a complete overhaul of all three 9,800hp Caterpillar 3618 onboard engines. The entire job took just 18 days thanks to the dedication of a team of more than 35 technicians from all over Spain, who put in more than 6,000 hours fitting over 8,000 parts, lifting and handling in excess of 25,000kg. It was an impressive example of what can be achieved by a team of committed, highly trained professionals.
