Human Rights Policy
The Human Rights Policy reaffirms TESYA's commitment to protecting people's fundamental rights, already expressed in the Code of Ethics and through the Whistleblowing procedure. As a Group, we are aware that human rights violations are a global and complex challenge, which is why the focus is not limited only to TESYA's operations but extends to the entire value chain: internally to employees of all Group companies, without limitation of role or position, and externally including suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, business partners, customers and communities.
The Human Rights Policy identifies two macro-areas in which the principles are applied overall:
Work
This sphere focuses on the internal dimension of the organisation, paying attention to the protection of workers' fundamental rights, including principles such as ensuring adequate working conditions and pay, health and safety, discrimination, diversity, equity and inclusion, communication and involvement, and freedom of association and collective bargaining.
Supply Chain, Customers, and Communities
This area focuses on the external dimension of the enterprise, valuing the positive impact that the protection of human rights generates on suppliers, customers, and the territory, from access to adequate services to the health and safety of customers and the satisfaction of their expectations to data protection and privacy and to the promotion of the quality of life and socio-economic development of the communities in which we operate.
