A success story in packaging
A customer in the packaging sector based in Puglia asked us to take care of the maintenance of its fleet of machines, mostly multi-brand forklifts, scrubbers, tail lifts and light electric vehicles. The expertise and professionalism of our technicians and sales department had built strong relations with the production personnel and company owner, leading them to subsequently approach us in a consulting capacity. The first step we recommended was to take the forklift fleet entirely over to Hyster diesel and electric models, to install packaging presses for materials handling and to create a tailored Scheduled Maintenance Contract to meet the customer’s needs precisely. We then took this support a step further, analyzing the customer’s business and suggesting an effective solution for them to optimize their resources: rental. The customer followed this advice, renting the forklifts required to work multiple shifts while continuing to maintain its own forklifts, which it used for just one shift. The results exceeded expectations both for productivity and operating costs.
