Finanzauto delivers the first Cat® 993K Wheel Loader in Spain and the third in Europe to work in the Riotinto Mines, a mining enclave that has been mined since Roman times and currently has estimated reserves of 197 million tons of ore, mainly copper. With the aim of offering a complete and integral solution for the extraction of this mineral, in addition to the Cat 993K unit, Finanzauto has delivered a complete fleet of equipment such as 6015 hydraulic excavators, 824K wheel dozers, 777 Off-Highway Trucks or D7 and D8 dozers.
The 993K, with its 133 tonne weight and 1000 hp, has an extraction capacity of more than 2000 tonnes per hour, which allows mine operations to be carried out with great versatility. Due to its dimensions, for its assembly, the machine had to be transported in five trucks and assembled at the customer’s facilities, using the most advanced technology for assembly, such as remote vision glasses.
