Getting to Know Us is the audio series that the TESYA Group has chosen to produce, in association with Chora Media, delving into the concept of corporate culture: a journey to discover new values within the world of work.
All successful companies establish their core values and communicate them to their employees via various channels. However, the greatest challenge lies in transforming these values into tangible behaviour within day-to-day workplace operations. The Getting to Know Us podcast aims to explore our corporate culture at both individual and collective levels. The goal is to provide practical insights for translating this culture into real actions that foster personal and community development.
Comprising four episodes, each around 20 minutes long, the series explores the logic and principles that constitute our corporate spirit, focusing on values that should guide us daily in our working life: listening, trust, openness to change and collective growth.
The series was made possible thanks to the contribution of Professor Nicola De Pisapia, an associate professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Trento. The Italian voice is provided by Beatrice Morandi, a counsellor and coach specializing in facilitating processes in work contexts.
Getting to Know Us is present on major free audio platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Spreaker, Google Podcasts). The series is also available in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
Ep. 1 – Communicate effectively for the benefit of the team
Hearing what is being said and listening are two very different things. In this episode, with the help of Prof. Nicola De Pisapia, we explore techniques for effective communication, from empathy to active listening, through strategies for turning a group into a real team.
We are often inclined to view trust as something that has more to do with the gut than the intellect, but building it requires both. In this episode, with the help of Prof. Nicola De Pisapia, we understand how to build genuine trusting relationships with others by working on ourselves and our expectations.
Ep. 3 – Broaden your outlook and embrace change
If changes challenge us, it’s not only our fault, but also our brain’s, which is designed to reduce effort. In this episode, with the help of Prof. Nicola De Pisapia, we learn more about how to counteract our mind’s automatic routines and regard change with serenity.
Ep. 4 – Getting to know each other to grow together
Self-awareness and knowledge of where you can improve is a central issue for well-being in the workplace. With the help of Prof. De Pisapia, in this episode we try to better understand ourselves and our emotions also through mindfulness, a practice that is attracting attention in the scientific community.
